I'm sure ill be pinching the odd bit of food off Kyra's plate at Lunch and dinner time though lol.

Thing is tho hun, when you start eating normal stuff again you'll put the weight back on. Thats why I dont understand these diets.
 
i thought you only had it for 2 meals and a normal meal for the 3rd (as long as its good normal meal). I did it a few years ago but had special K as Im sure there are more calories and sugar in most cereals than other things.

Usually im good at keeping the weight off after, its just i been comfort eating at the moment and have pilled the weight on.

Also starting exercising again.

a bowl of cereal is 222 calories and i only want to eat 1300 calories so i should be ok.

I'm pretty sure there are too! Sadly theres no easy fix :sad:

yes unfortunately as you say there is no quick fix. I think healthy eating and excercise are the best things rather than faddy diets - unfortunately Im not very good at either at the moment

It is tho isnt it, like everything in life its all down to hard work :rotfl: I'm surprised how good I've been, another 2lbs and I've lost 1/2 stone this month even with having a takeway at the weekend and the odd few treats. I've still got a long way to go tho :faint:

well done. I weighed myself on saturday for the first time for ages and made the decision then I was going to try and be good and eat more healthily and Ive been ill since - obviously too much shock even thinking about it
 
I've just been on the phone to the events admin at Alnwick Gardens (A different lady to the one I spoke to last time!)... I was really worried she'd be really scary (Rachel, who showed us around last time was so lovely!) but she was sooooo nice!! I feel at ease now!! :goodvibes That means in a week and a bit we'll have our wedding booked!! :banana:

Totally agree with this. When I studided nutrition I leanrnt the trick is to eat little & often as it helps speed you metabolism up.

People who starve themselves will be worse off as their bodies will just store anything they do eat.

Just been to my weigh-in at Slimming World and have lost 2lb this week giving me my stone and a half award so rather pleased! Although I was really really good this week so a slightly bigger loss would have been nice. 2lbs a week for a year would be 7 stone though so that's absolutely fine!

Thats great Cathy, i didnt know that 2lb a week for a year would equal 7 stone. How many lbs is a stone? I need to lose 2.
