Hi Bob, How was Uni?

I was soaked and freezing by the time I got there (Damn snow!), my lecturer didn't have a clue what he was on about (We don't think the module is his module- We think its been dumped on him as he is so hopelessly clueless!) and someone on the street called me fat ***** because they were running in my direction and I ducked out of the way (He thought I was out of earshot but that doesn't excuse it!)!! Some people!! Overall, not the best day, but I treated myself to some stuff from Dotty P's.....

Evening all. I've just checked DD's school's website and school's closed tomorrow as well. Think I'm already bored of this white stuff now lol. One day's enough - the kids went out again in the afternoon. This morning, I couldn't get Adam to go out (I eventually did) ... and this afternoon, I asked him if he wanted to go out and he happily said 'yes' and I couldn't get him back inside after that !! So they were out for about an hour. It was still snowing then as well but thankfully it has stopped since about 5.30 just now.

Yes, I am very shy, I am not as bad as I use to be however I used to be so bad that I had to see a psychiatrist for many years. I used to worry so much about having to get a bus or something simple I get ill.
I still find it hard to deal with people in difficult situations though and often need my BF to speak for me. I am over sensitive too and get upset to easily I guess.

Claire I was a very shy person (think DD takes after me that way, which is quite annoying lol) - still am really but not too bad now after having the kids. A similar thing happened to me - someone stepped aside to let me pass, I did say thank you but obviously not loud enough... and I heard her tell her friend "a thank you would have been nice". If I had been braver, I would've turned around and tell them I did say thank you but I wasn't. So it really bugged me the entire day after that. It was as if someone was telling me off for something I didn't do lol.

Wish Kyra's school would update there website,i had to look on the local radio station website to see if her school was shut. Nothing about if its open tomorrow. Hope so i got things to do lol.

Ok just found out that "Due to treacherous conditions in the vicinity of the school and beyond, we cannot open on Tuesday 3rd February." so a nice lay in for me tomorrow lol.

Loving the snow pics....thought I would post one too....the little table has 2 pots of daffodils on it thats what is buried under the snow!

Im wondering what will happen with the kids school tomorrow,I keep checking the local news website but their school isnt on it, this morning it was all done by word of mouth, parents phoning each other!

I'm hoping my local council know something I don't. Just had flashing orange lights illuminate the house - a gritter lorry We've lived here 10 years (in a tiny cul de sac) and I have NEVER EVER EVER seen a gritter in the street!

Maybe the snow is on its way
