We are doing the basic DDP (as always). Usually, it is just DH and I who tend to have one or two big meals during the day... and we just snack along as we go. It works for us, we rarely eat breakfast.
This year, we are bringing my mom (who has meds) and sister who are more the types who NEED food about 5 times a day in smaller doses. So, for that, I am thinking of bringing some granola bars or something (although I always bring granola bars, hate them, and don't eat them). We don't wanna spend a ton of extra money on breakfast.
What do you usually bring extra for breakfast? Anything? Can we get those Uncrustables in Canada?
We don't have kids... So, I'm not really up on the snack foods available. :lmao:

We always eat breakfast, but I can't see spending $10 on breakfast, so we always bring a box of cereal & buy milk in the food court (snack credit) or the store.

We are bringing granola bars, cereal bars, possibly cereal and fruit cups..

You may want to look into a grocery delivery service..Garden grocery is reasonable we are going to order stuff through them

I brought packages of oatmeal and used the hot water in the food court to make it.

We also had a fridge from the fridge swap. Next time I will pack some cereal or go to a grocery store if we rent a car.

The food court also has a toaster and microwave.

Hi Melissa! There are two grocery shopping companies that will deliver to you on WDW property.
wegoshop.com
gardengrocer.com

Very reasonable and excellent reports. I have them booked for Feb as my 3 boys constantly eat. Let us know what you think and what you end up doing!

Of course you can pack a suitcase full of food too but for a small fee these folks do the work. They can deliver to bellhop desk (if no alcohol) and you just safely prepay.

By uncrustables I am guessing you mean those PB and J sandwiches - AREN'T THEY THE BEST! You can't buy them in Canada but rest assured there will be at least 2 boxes on our grocery list with Garden Grocer in March. DD's love them! You didn't say where you were staying and if you have a fridge - if you do, then definatley stock it with some groceries!! Remember you take driks and food into the parks (just not cans) and it is great to have cold drinks for around the pool.

We do cereal, juices, the uncrustables, and we love those boxes of muffins and donuts they have in the US!! They come in individual bags of mini's so they ae great for the parks! I'll also get some produce as I find we do not get enough of this eating Disney meals - apples, oranges, bananas.

Have fun and happy eating!!

My DM and two nieces went for a week in January. They took a couple of packages of bagels and a small jar of peanut butter and jam. Some days they toasted them in the food court, some days they just had them as they were. They used these as breakfast some days, snacks on others. DM said she wished she had taken another package!

We often take granola bars, but don't always eat them. The 2 years that we used DDP we felt no need to have extra snacks, but if someone needs them in order to take meds, I would definitely have something in the room. If you are not familiar with snack foods, just cruise the grocery aisle that has granola bars, cereal bars, etc. at home before your trip.

We have used Garden Grocer twice. They are excellent. We have also ordered cases of beer thru them and they do leave it at Bell services for us. If you want anything that is not on their website, in the comments field on the order form just enter what you would like. This is where we entered that we would like 2 cases of beer. I then called to tell them we would not be there when they delivered and they asked me to fax a copy of my picture ID with proof of age.

When we checked in I asked if there was anything waiting for us and they told us bellservices had received a delivery and they would bring it up to our room. Bell services brought the order up to our room and I made sure that I tipped them well.

We ordered 2 cases of water and breakfast foods.

If we didn't need the water, I would just fill a suitcase with packets of oatmeal, cereal bars etc.
