What brand/style of close toed black heels does everyone wear? I am in need of new ones and I would like them to be comfy as they are for work. I dont mind spending some money if they will last a long time and are comfy.

I wear Elie Tahari - his shoes are the most comfortable I've ever worn! I have several pair. :thumbsup2

I don't own a pair but Itried them on and they felt amazing. I saw them in Marshalls, but they were still expensive.

I've always found Nine West to be comfortable and nice looking. I've never been into the chunk heal, and they have always continued to carry the nice 3" heel pumps. Simple yet classic. I have them in black, navy, velvet black, off white. I've never had sore feet after wearing them.

Stuart Weitzman shoes are very comfortable. I replaced the sole several times and they still look great!

I have a pair of Cole Haan that are very nice.

My favorite dress shoes are Soffts.

My favorites are Sofft and Nurture (these are found only at Dillards).

You can find Sofft shoes at Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack for a lot cheaper.

Donald Pliner uppers are made with black microfiber, mid-height heels. You can get them resoled forever, retail about $150.

I noticed when I was in the New Balance store the other day they're selling a line of heels. I didn't get a chance to look at them (Paying $100 for walking shoes was price shock enough) but I want to look into them. I have foot problems and need very supportive shoes.

I am currently wearing a pair of black patent Aersoles from Kohls. They are very comfortable but have a cute peep toe.

the Nine West myself--I have a pair of flats with the SOFTEST leather I had ever owned--Just doesn't pay to have them resoled when I could get another pair for the same price!

I think the Aerosoles have the best footbed comfort that I have found though. Good luck! I have to hit Shoe Carnival tonight myself for my DD9! She is growing at an alarming rate!

Dansko makes some dressier heels - these or the new Clarks dress shoe line. I can be on my feet all day at a trade show in them

Easy Spirit
Clarks of Boston
Naturalizer
Nine West

these are the brands I wore when I worked and had to be on my feet all day.

When I worked as a Corporate Meeting Planner and would be on the tradeshow floor, 12, 14, 16 hours a day I always wore Easy Sprits. I also really liked my Clarks if I was wearing pants.
