I am in search for good quality toddler girl socks that do not cost an arm and a leg each! I want them to look nice with her other clothes but I just can not justify paying $3.50 a pair! Many of the socks I have purchased get stained on the bottom so quickly too, which is frustrating! Where is everyone buying their socks?

I get Hanes socks. Specifically because I have two girls and the color coding on the toe and heel of the sock helps when I'm sorting. I get plain old white socks and the oldest is now blue heel and the youngest is purple heel. I've used them for years and they stand up pretty well. I think I get them at wal-mart or target 6 for $10 or something like that.

I have seen socks at target that are sold individually and look like the socks you'd get at the Children's Place or Old Navy (solid colors, cuffed). I don't recall the price for sure, but maybe $1.50 per pair? Otherwise the Children's Place or Old Navy outlet stores, if you have any nearby.

The Old Navy ones are really pretty good, especially when they are on sale. My DD13 still wears ones she got in like 3rd or 4th grade (they're still her favorites, they're tight but for some reason she CANNOT have loose socks) so they hold up pretty well.

I love Old Navy, Target, and Gap socks for my kids. They hold up well and maintain their softness too. I found the Gymboree socks to get really stiff after a couple of washings.

I love Old Navy socks for my dd and ds...and also most Target socks. Gap socks are nice and great quality but I find them a little more expensive.

I love the Gap socks, however if they are on clearance I love them even more. We try to stock up on sizes and DS grows when they are 99c ext. Also outlet helps too.

Costco has large packs of stride rite socks. We get those for every day wearing

I always got my kids' socks at Gymboree. They last forever!

My boys have to wear navy socks with their uniform pants. I haven't had to buy any socks for DS7 because DS12's old Gymboree socks are still in great shape. Those are the only socks that lasted long enough to be hand-me-downs.

It's not cheap, but I bought kiddos socks at Little Miss Matched. They have a few different Disney designs, with styles changing every few months. The socks themselves are resilient. And my laundry job is easier because I don't match any of her socks.
Admittedly, morning time is a bit slower because kiddo tries to theme her socks. She won't wear princesses with Mickey or Minnie, and I've never convinced her to wear a Cheshire cat sock with a 101 Dalmatians sock. ;-)
