Sorry, but all I can think of would be a Bible, and something very funny like Clavin & Hobbes. With my DS at four and a half, I'm finding parenting is about reinforcing values while maintaining a sense of humor...

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for in a parenting book (type), but the one I like and have found actually useful is Boundries with Kids by Drs. Cloud and Townsend. It just gives you a practical way to handle all sorts of situations.
