Another vote for Sheraton. Used Priceline bidding and got a Saturday night for 60.00!!. It is cheaper to park in Toronto Public Parking garage across the street from hotel. There is a entrance right in front of the side of hotel across from Nathan Philips Square, which is where the actual garage is under.

I voted for other. I'm going to tell you about a real hidden gem right downtown. It's the Metropolitan Hotel and it's by City Hall. I paid $90/night in the middle of the summer. It has really contemporary decor and looks super swanky. The room was amazing. I was not expecting this for the price I was paying! It is definitely worth checking out.
