What type "diaper" bag do you use for everyday. I am looking for something large enough to hold a few diapers, wipes, changing pad, a bottle, and maybe a bad of snacks. I currently use a small eddie bauer, but I am looking for something like a messenger or backpack type.
Thanks.

I don't use a diaper bag anymore, but towards the end of my diaper bag time I bought a black tote bag from target. It was the size of a large purse, so I used it for a purse most of the time also. It was great because it looked good not all bulky like a standard diaper bag. It was black leather (fake leather).

I have one that is handmade from The Indigo Onion (www.theindigoonion.com) and I have a Coach bag. Both are messenger style. I like my Coach bag for day trips because it can really take a beating, and it's a good size for a trip to the mall. I like my Indigo Onion one because it's lighter, my Coach bag is leather so it's heavy, and you can stuff a ton of things in it, so it's a good out all day bag.

I have a diaper bag from LLBEAN. A lot of people cannot beleive it is a diaper bag because it comes in great colors and looks good. I don't really need a diaper bag but I love the pockets so I use it to take my kids places. Can hold change of clothes, snacks, cups, toys etc. I could have also had my name added on for $5.00.

I bought 2 Lands Ends diaper bags, but I ended up using the free Emfamil bag instead of the others.

It's not a diaper bag, but I used it as one when my DS was still in diapers. It's the Overland Equipment "Donner" bag:

It's comfy to wear messenger or shoulder style. It's got great organization and holds more than you think it does. I've had mine for almost two years now and it still is my main purse. My favorite parts of this bag are the two sippy cup/bottle holders on the side and the front flap which keeps me very organized (I can easily find my keys and cell phone now, LOL).

Good luck in your search.

I have twins. I needed both hands. :) I went to Target and got a regular backpack with enough compartments and side pockets. It was so much easier than a regular diaperbag. And my husband never complained about carrying a basic black backpack. :thumbsup2

regards

Ive got so many bags/diaper bags. I dont like big bulky ones though. I found a neat one by JJ Cole called the Essentials Bag. It doesnt look like much, but I could get quite a bit in it. Its basically a strip of nylon that you sling across your chest (I was able to wear it over my shoulder too). Its got many different size pockets. If I didnt have to lug my video camera and large still camera it would be going to WDW with me.

i love my skip hop duo.

I have the Skip Hop Expo and I love it! Doesn't look like a traditional bag and holds lots of stuff without being bulky. I also love the stroller clip on feature.

Another vote here for the Enfamil bag! We use it for our twins so it has more than adequate space. I work well-baby nursery and when I give the moms their bag I let them know how great it is. :)

I bought a Le Sport Sak bag. It has lots of compartments and came with an extra zippered bag for make up. You can find them at Macys and usually get 25% off. I love mine and I am shopping for a fall color! Oh, and this summer I saw an Alice in Wonderland print--it was great!

this is the backpack that i have ( or close enough) It has a changing pad. It has an insulated storage on the front, that keeps stuff nice and cold ( we used this for soda and juice in Disney and it stayed cold for hours with just a tiny ice pack. it is big enough for a ton of stuff and did get a bit heavy when it was full but it was still comfortable to hold (the straps are padded)

Skiphop... I have 3 in different colors. :teeth: It's a diaper bag yet I use it when I attend school and no one even notices. lol

i like to have both hands free so I use a diaper bag that's a backpack that i got from Landsend.com. i have used nondiaper backpacks for this purpose before, but what i like about the landsend bag is that it has insulated pockets for bottles on both sides. it also has a small day bag with a carrying strap that would be good for disney b/c you can put your valuables and a diaper in it and leave the rest of the stuff in the stroller while you go into a ride or a restaurant. my husband also likes it b/c it looks like a "normal" backpack and is not "girly".

I have another vote for the Skiphop bag -- I love mine! The strap can be worn over my shoulder or across messanger style and the clip on handle for the stroller is the best! Holds tons of stuff and doesn't look like a diaper bag.

Another SKip Hop fan here!

I have three diaper bags, a Kalencom backpack that lasted all of 6 months, a Petunia Picklebottom that is gorgeous but not easy to clean and didn't hold it's shape very well and then the Skip Hop, which is my favorite. I like this bag the best because it is very sturdy, it isn't too bulky but holds a lot of stuff, and it easily clips on the stroller. They have them in cute colors too, I have the Uptown Stripe.

i loved my enfamil bag! it was the perfect size for a newborn lol i missed it when i retired it lol!

i had the eddie bauer weekender! was clunky sometimes! i ended up buying a Custom boutique diaper tote bag! off ebay! i still use it for weekend trips with my 3 year old! :) perfect colors for my disney princess! :)

I have this Amy Cole bag from Target and I love it. The best part is the 2 pockets in the front, they fit my wallet & cell phone perfectly and have magnetic closures so I can get to them easily.

One thing I don't like about it though is the straps are long enough to carry on your shoulder, but not long enough to fit around my Graco stroller.
