OT - Anyone stay at Gravenhurst KOA?

We been to Niagara Falls KOA a few times ~ really liked it, but WAY too $$$$$$$$. S

We stayed at the Koa north toronto/cookstown and loved it there is a outlet mall across from it that has the children's place....I got tons of back to school stuff for the kids for nest to nothing!

If is it the one near bracebridge loved it. Had a golf course cheap cost to rent clubs and play, cheap rental on boat and store items not outrageous in price.

Thanks for the replies.

I called and it is already sold out (of kabins) for the weekend in august. I guess everything is a 180 day booking these days.... :sad1:

KOA's have a rep of being a party place, so if that's not what you want you should look else where. We stayed at the one in Parry Sound not knowing anything about it and it was not the best camping trip we've had. The camp ground itself was really nice but we had major problems with other people partying until all hours of the night. We complained and the owner basically told us that we were making it all up.

We later found out that people will go to KOA's because it is acceptable to get drunk and party all night.

While I've never stayed at a KOA in Canada we spend 3 weeks each summer at them between Montana and California. I have never experienced any partying or late nights. They are all family oriented and have quiet houors after either 10 or 11.
I love staying at KOA's and find they're worth the extra $$ for a safe and quiet sleep, clean showers and usually a pool.
