OT/ anyone live near or in st pete fl?

im in Brandon about 30 mins east of their and 10 mins ast of Tampa. my area ive had a hard time with school they suck! st. petes in a beach town plai and simple!! I advise apartment living so that u can carefully search the area ! school of choice is allowed but u have to be in district and apply in Dec the yr before so for next yr 2013-2014 u need to apply by dec 2012!

It's definitely not a beach town feeling in all of St. Pete, lol. My aunt lives on Pass a Grille, but most everyone else I know lives in the city part.

I never lived out there, always lived in Tampa so no help with schools etc. Good luck though! In general most Florida public schools are lacking, St. Pete is no different.
