OT - Anyone else having problems connecting April 2011?

Just thought I'd check if this is more of Anzac issue or if it is just a couple of us.

I've been having issues connecting to the Dis this week after the Dis Twilight Zone (3 - 3.30 am Eastern US time, about 5 - 5.30 pm Aussie time) to anywhere after 10 pm Aussie time.

DH has done the geeky "ping" thing from the C prompt (OMG! I was having such a flashback when I saw the greenscreen!) and it seems that there is a server problem somewhere. Not sure if it is an intermediary server or if it is a server at the Dis end...

I know that at least one more Aussie has the same problem.

Is anyone else having the same issue?





ps. Yes, I know...the irony is that I'm sneaking this post in before twilight zone starts!

I have been getting the server is busy try again later all weekend not so much today have to say i was definitely getting Dis withdrawals on the weekend when it kept coming up

I agree...now that PIO and I have discussed it...everything is fine!

I had a message some time on the weekend (Sat morning maybe?) that the server was down for maintenance for 2 hours. I think I waited a whole half hour befoe I tried again, and it worked.

Yup I have had the same problem every now and then, but definitely over the last weekend! (except a few hours earlier because on the west coast)

Sometimes I just can't load the page at all; other times I get a "boards are undergoing maintenance" message.

But at all other times it works okay touch wood!

If only I could say the same thing for 3 mobile broadband
