OT-Anyone been to Darien Lake this year?

We haven't been to Darien Lake in a few years. It was a nice little park for the kids. I know they have new ownership this year having been sold by Six Flags.

Has anyone been there this year and how did you find it compared to previous visits if it was a return visit?

With our dollar nearing par, we may make it part of a weekend trip if it's still OK.

We were there last month. It's just the same. Same Rides, games, cheesy shows, great WaterParks, same plentiful security on patrol, Laserblast seemed a little shorter. They've removed all Loony Toon Characters & there's no Batman show now. Still a lot of Loony Toon & Batman character merchandise in the shops.

There is a new circus show that opened after we were there that is probably better than Batman was!

Still a good affordable choice for families, we felt. And the Cdn $ is even better now!

Too bad that Bugs and Batman are gone. My boys are at the age (6.7) where Super Heroes are HUGE.

Not sure why, but we enjoy the pace of Darien Lake over Wonderland for a day trip. Just wish Orlando parks were a day trip
