Hi, looks like we wont be able to afford Disney this year, so we are spending 1 night in New Orleans and 2 nights in Ft, Walton, FL.
I love New Orleans and have been there on a couple of buisness trips, but have NO idea what we can do there with our 7 and 3 year old daughters. Any suggestions?:confused3

We have a great zoo. Visit the zoo or go explore the French Quarter. Be sure to stop by and get beignets as well. You could even go to the aquarium. Do a trolley ride or carriage ride in the quarter.

They have a great Children's Museum too. And the insectarium is interesting. If you park at the zoo you can take a riverboat down to the aquarium as well. I think there is one universal ticket you can buy for the zoo, aquairum, insectarium, and riverboat ride. Don't forget Cafe Du Mondu for some beignets!

Thanks for the tips! We'll definitely do those. Can you recommend a good moderately priced restaurant for dinner?

Bubba Gump Shrimp Co has a fun atmosphere

Cafe' Masparo's has great sandwhichs

Don't forget to get some dollars and quarters to ride the street car. I think its a $1.25 per person

I Loved NOLA.... the atmosphere, the music.... Can't wait to go again. This time maybe go on a swamp tour and some mansions. The peopel were WONDERFUL!!! Food was Ok....
