OT-another iPhone ?

OK so we got the iPhones. Now I want to protect my investment. I have the screen protector already. Now I need something for the case. I have been known to drop my phone. I mainly keep my phone in purse or in my lab coat pocket at work. I am planning to get my husband the otterbox which looks very durable but a bit bulky for me??? Do any ladies have one of those or can you suggest a case for me?

As an owner of an iPhone 3G and an Otterbox for it to go in, I can recommend no other. It is simply the best accessory for any piece of electronics I have ever owned. It may seem bulky at first, but it grows on you and you will never be able to live without it. The Otterbox comes with a belt clip as well if you think you might have problems keeping it in your pocket. And I tell everyone I see with an iPhone that if you are going to make the investment in the phone, definitely get the Otterbox.

My sister has an otterbox for her 3Gs and loves it. She's dropped it in the parking lot and her iphone remained safe. I ordered an otterbox for dh's 3Gs from amazon. He was eyeing it in the apple store but i told him to wait and let me look online. It was $50 in the apple store and I ended up getting it for $32 on amazon.

I have the CapsuleRebel and I can tell you, it's AWESOME. I got the Pink/red combo, then ordered a couple different colors of the plastic "striped" bit for variety.

I find it doesn't add too much bulk to the phone, it give it a little "grip" and definitely protects it from drops (dropped mine on the blacktop TWICE - scuff in corner of case, nothing on phone).

I get a lot of compliments on it as well, since it's fun looking. Well, and, if it happens to match my outfit, there is a little teasing (I only once did this on purpose! HONEST!).

Thanks for the advice I got DH the otterbox defender and I went for the more girlie capsule rebel. It looks like it still has great protection.
