We just moved to a new apartment and the neighbors who live in the apartment behind us play VERY loud music during the day. We can hear it through the wall and it drives me crazy. I have gone over there and asked them to turn it down a few times but it doesn't help. Its turned up so loud that they couldn't even hear me knocking on their door. Then when they do answer the door I have asked nicely for them to turn it down. The neighbor says she will turn it down "a little" and is rude about it. The noise level doesn't change (big suprise) and I don't know what to do.
A little background-This is a huge apartment/condo complex and most of the units are privately owned. We rent from an outside rental company so I am not sure that complaining to the (property) office would help, plus the office is only open on Wed. from 1-5 pm. I don't even know who these people rent from for all I know, they own the unit. My rental company's office is nowhere near the property and I don't think there is much they can do to help. Any advice would be much appreciated!
