I think I'm in the thread starting mood today? :confused3

I have a OT question about Crocs. Has anyone ever worn either the Prima or the Malidini to DLR? I have the classic Cayman that I wear around the house, but never to DLR. I normaly wear flip flops or tennies, but my feet always kill me..

Do the Primas or Malidinis rub? Should I just stick to the Mary Janes if I want to go with Crocs?

Any help por favor! ;)

I love my disney princes crocs, which I think are cayman style. I do the parks for about 10-12 hours per day, and where them everyday. I have gotten small blisters in one spot, but my feet have never hurt.

While I've never worn either of the 2 styles you specifically asked about, I swear by the Cayman or the Mary Jane style. They are perfect for the long days at the park.

Thank you! I think I'll get some Primas AND Mary Janes and try out both.. If the Primas don't work out, I have the Mary Janes, which I've heard a lot of people swear by, and I can still wear the Primas out and about..

I don't have Prima's, but was speaking with someone who did. She said they need to be broken in unlike other sytles. The Primas start off a bit snug.

They look like they do.. Maybe if I buy them now and wear them out until our trip they should be broken in?

I have worn caymans, capris and mary janes to the park. The caymans are nice, but I don't love how they look (my feet are narrow). The capris and mary janes are awesone for the park!

"The caymans are nice, but I don't love how they look (my feet are narrow)"

LOL...I don't like how they look on me b/c my feet are wide! I need nothing making them wider.

But my maryjanes aren't perfect for me, because they fit a bit more snugly than a Croc should. Oh well, right now I just can't possibly add bulk to my hobbit feet. :upsidedow

I don't have experience with the two you asked about, OP, but for me, variety is vital. My Crocs one day, tennis shoes the next (OK fine, running shoes to be exact). on Crocs days, if it's cold I start with socks (the horror the horror), then after a couple hours the sock-footbed nubbin-combo starts to really hurt the bottom of my feet, and I take off my socks. Then I can go the rest of the day, generally. But the next day I'm all about my running shoes.

Mix it up!

I'm sorry but what is all the big hoopla about crocs?

I wear my prima or alice crocs every day for work. The prima did rub a little to start with until they were worn in but now they are fine. For a day at a theme park I prefer to wear my mary janes (or my minnie janes!!) as you don't have to take them off on the rollersoasters and rides like Soarin.

I tried to classic Crocs, and they were just too wide for my feet. I then tried the Alice and found them to be a great fit. I wore them all over WDW for a week an felt that I could go six hours before feeling sore. I would switch to a shoe with a heel in the evening after our midday nap.

Plus, the Alice doesn't look like a Croc!

The hoopla is feet that don't hurt! Have you ever done restaurant work? You know the thick black rubber matting that they have all over ther tile flooring? Well, it is like walking around with that rubber padding all day. And then there are some foot ergonomics with the nubs and what not. End result is feet that can take a lickin and keep on tickin.

In addition, they are very good in case you get caught in a down pour(or GRR or splash, perhaps). Just change your socks, dry them off and you are good to go. Much easier to deal with than wet tennis shoes!

I love my crocs! I have the Baja and the capri's. I can't bring myself to buy the cayman. But I do really like the Minnie Mary Janes.

Thank you all! I think I'm going to splurge and get Mary Janes and Primas, and break them in, take them both to the park along with a pair of tennies and switch off. :woohoo:

I won't wear anything else at DL but my crocs (I have disney ones, not sure what kind that is).

I have wide, flat feet. So the width helps me a lot. In regular tennies I'll get horrible blisters and my pinky toes hurt from being smashed all day. By the end of the trip I have tons of bandaids on my feet, and I'm walking like Donald! LOL Tennis shoes are okay for me for short walks, but not 10 hours a day for a week!

So I love my crocs. My Mom got a pair on our last trip and doesn't care for them. She has narrow feet, so I tend to think it's better for those with wide or flat feet.

These are my two faves:
1. athens for warm weather sooooo comfy
2. mammoths wore these every day when I was at DLR in March and even though the weather was gorgeous, my feet were so comfy and never too warm in these - similar to uggs cool/warm temp. stability

I also have mary janes, beach and caymans and would like to get one more pair for summer, maybe sassari for variety

I couldn't have said it better myself! :thumbsup2 The last time we went to DLR I was the only one to wear crocs (actually they were a cheap knockoff) and I was the only one to not have sore feet the entire week. They are really ugly (speaking of the original style) but they are so comfortable!!! And they come in all those pretty colors

hmmmm I still just can't do it.. I can't convert.:)

I always used to wonder what all the hoopla was about with crocs and who would want to wear them in the hospital with holes on the top in the or of all places.

Went back to work in the hospital and work 12-16 hours a day...I now swear by my crocs...Shoe covers can cover the holes and there must be something about them because the policy for the hospital still says 'white shoes" and two people of the 70 something on our unit wears white shoes and 75% wear crocs or something croc like.

I have narrow feet and I love my crocs.

My stepmom still feels the way you do. She's a Dansko clog-wearer, and will be even after she retires from her NICU unit. Just does NOT get the Crocs thing at all. Oh well, she's comfy in her clogs!
