DD will be turning 2 in May (where did my baby go:scared1: ) and I'm trying to think of some ideas for a Disney themed party. She LOVES everything Disney. We're hoping the weathers okay so outdoor and indoor ideas would be great. There will be other kids there, the majority around the age of 3. I'd like to have some activities that both my daughter (since it is her birthday lol) and the other kids can enjoy.

Any ideas/suggestions would be great! TIA!

Two and three year olds are easy to please. When my son turned two I rented a bouncer and bought a bubble machine and the kids had a great time. Go to the Disney Family Fun Magazine website and they'll have a ton of ideas too. Have fun!

I second the bubbles (and if you don't have a machine, an older neighborhood kid may be willing to blow them for you in return for some cake and ice cream.)

DS and friends liked freeze-dance when they were little. You play music and they dance / move around. When you stop the music, they freeze - the goofier the poses, the better.

Last year my DD who was turning 3 had a "Princess and Knights" party. We played put Cinderella in the Castle (like pin the tail on the donkey), Pass the Poision Apple (like hot potato with a plastic apple), Freeze dance and were supossed to have Mermaid races (wrap green streamers around legs and hop in a race). The Mermaid races wound up being just regular races outside and the green streamers will be used in this years party. I had all of those games planned and the biggest hit of the entire party were the balloons that I had blown up and were just all over the floor. The kids went CRAZY with them. Throwing them all around, dancing with them, ganging up on the adults...

My advice would be to plan a few simple games, but remember they'll probably just make up their own at that age with a bunch of balloons.

Good luck with the party!

My DD turns two in June and I am planning on having a few friends over who also have DDs the same age, blowing up our bounce house and letting them have fun! At that age, you can keep a party short and sweet. Let 'em play, eat a cupcake, and you should be good to go :thumbsup2

Now if it were only that easy for my DD4...
