They're probably trying to make up for last year's, It's Hard out here for a Pimp. They want to show they can be responsible this year.

I think they were just joking. They're not supposed to come out plug a new movie. So they just present an award together.

Ooooh, the prerequisite "Hollywood (and other) movies are socially important" montage. And, of course, you have to have Hanks featured.At least they had clips from Keaton, Dr. Strangelove, Scarface, and Blade Runner.

I thought it was strange that he wouldn't talk about it either. Oprah asked him if he could say anything about it. He told who he was playing and how long it took him to get into his make-up. But said that was about all he could talk about.
