Osbourne lights previews?

Does anyone know if there are any previews for the Osbourne lights this year? Last year there was a preview for AP holders and another preview for those that were signed up for the Spectacle of Pins - Pin trading event on Saturday before Thanksgiving.
I haven't heard anything this year...

I'm an Annual Passholder, and I don't remember any announcement about an AP preview of the Osborne Lights last year. And I know that 2 years ago, I called WDW about the beginning of November because none had been announced, and the CM told me that there wasn't going to be one. Well, I know there was, because I was there! They did finally announce it about 2 weeks in advance. So don't expect anything until the last minute. I also wish that they'd have an AP preview the weekend beforeThanksgiving, since we're going to be there then, but I hear that Disney's going to have the lights ready 11/14, so like you, I'm really wondering about an AP preview. It was nice 2 years ago, wish they'd have it again.

I doubt they will this year since they did push the start date forward by almost 2 weeks. That is thanks to the nice weather they received and no major storms to hamper the set up.

There was no AP preview last year for the lights. I went over and asked the day everyone on here was saying it was supposed to be. They told me the lights would be on several days before the advertised date.

When do they start putting up the lights? I saw alot of the lights already up or never taken down from last year when we were there in August.

Trust me they take them down. But with all the Hurricanes and Storms FL received last year they really got a jump on this year to make sure they where well prepared ahaead of time.

I was there for last year... we went to the pin trading event... but we also did the AP preview. At least I thought we did!!!

So, you're saying that the lights will be turned on for everyone the weekend before thanksgiving?

OMG, that would be SO cool. We will be there from the 1th to the 18th and that would just be topping on the cake!!! Keeping my fingers crossed. Saw them for the first time last year and they were beautiful. My neice would love it!!!

Actually, the Disneyworld site shows them starting 11/13 Monday night from 6-7. It is also an EMH evening, so i hoping to catch them then.
