Osbourne Lights - Friday night

Was planning on going to see Osbourne Lights on Sunday night. Because of the rain, I'm thinking of going tomorrow night after doing a few things at Epcot. If we arrive at HS around 7 or 8, is there a better way to walk to approach the area where the lights will be? Have never seen them. We're staying at the Dolphin so won't have to worry about not being able to park the car.
