Questions about the Osborne Lights. What time does this start each night? How long is this area open for? I noticed the park closure time of 7pm, while I'm there, with Fantasmic at 7pm. Can you go see the lights after that show or do they send everyone out of the park after the show finishes?

The last time we watched Fantasmic, people were touring the lights well after the show ended even tho the official park closing time was listed as the very same time the show started. I would think they are still doing it that way.

And, I think they turn the lights on as it is beginning to get dark.

Enjoy.

It started at 6 pm this last christmas week! Super!!! We had the best time, walk thru slowly and gather all the details, some are really cleaver! The snow effect was great, we had a blast!

Thanks for the question and the info. I hadn't thought of that. We have seen the lights one other time but it was a hectic time for us and I really don't think we had a chance to get a real good tour of everything. The second time we were there at Christmas, the Osbourn lights weren't up. So this time we really want to take it all in.

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to hear you can go view them after Fantasmic. I have one night planned for both.

Wait----What is this??

Osbourne Family Lights at MGM --

It is quite a spectacular sight. The Streats of America area is covered (literally) in lights, with holiday music, snow, hot chocolate, etc.

Here is the link to the DIS write up from last year, but it has been basically the same in recent years.

It's a family event - we go each year when my sister is visiting! I can't wait!

This is an example of what you will see!

anyone know when the hours and dates are posted for the lights? I would love to see that. I know my boys will love it. Thanks. I hoping to be able to watch Fantasmic and then go see the lights. We will be there the week after Thanksgiving. :goodvibes

This is my favorite part of the 4 parks at Christmas. We look for all the hidden Mickeys and try to catch the snow flakes. We just LOVE it!!!!

I seen them for the first time last year and it was awlsome. Went after Fantasmic and since it was EMN they where still up. Can't wait to view them again.

So concensus is that you can go to the 8:30 Fantasmic and THEN go to see the lights? If so, that would be AWESOME!!! :woohoo:

Tinkernelllec - I just had to post that your boys are adorable!!
