Osborne Lights/X-Mas decorations 1st week January??

Arriving Jan 3rd and trying to catch Osborne Lights and Magic Kingdom decorations when we arrive until we leave the 9th that Saturday. How far into the 1st week will they keep up X-Mas decorations and Osborne Lights. Any educated guesses?

Ooooh, you are cutting it close. In the past, the decorations have been taken down (or, at least, the process started) on the Monday following New Year's Day. Since NYD falls on a Friday this year, that would mean that the breakdown could begin on the 3rd, the day you arrive.

I thought they normally ran until Epiphany, so the 5th would be the last day to see the lights. The gingerbread shops seemed to close a few days earlier, and the holiday special booths set up in Epcot were closed on the 1st.

I see with initial January 2016 schedule that on the 3rd that Sunday is the final 3pm Christmas parade with the 4th returning FoF on that day. Hoping they wait until the 4th on both. My priority is the Osborne Lights and we wish to take my sister in law to at least OL.

Expect the MK Christmas decorations and Castle "Frozen" lights to run through (approx.) Jan. 10.
That coincides with the January WDW Marathon, and they like the MK decor (and even the "Frozen Lighting Ceremony") to remain open for those at WDW for those events.

According to this the last Christmas Parade is the 3rd...wonder if that's the last night for lights too??

While that is certainly possible, those two events have not had "synced" end schedules in the past.
