Does anybody have a list of which restaurants offer the ornaments with the $30 food purchase? I have seen a few of them on ebay are they all haunted mansion themed? any info appreciated

I think the only place to get them is the French Market. The ornaments are Nightmare before Christmas themed.

Wouldn't that be like 1 slice of pizza at Tomorrowland?:rolleyes1

They have the ornaments at both the French Market and Cafe Orleans.
And all of them are NBC themed.

I really wish I could eat at the French Quarter as I soooooooooo want those ornaments!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will have to find some one who has some they dont want to buy them. I wonder if any of the cute desserts are veggie??

The problem is, it goes on for 13 weeks- from just before Halloween til Christmas. They do one character per week. All the main characters have been given out. They do not give out any ornaments that have passed. We spent $70 at Cafe Orleans and received 2 ornaments with the professor on it. We love NBC and really liked getting the ornaments but we would have much preferred SAlly or Zero

Do you have to ask for one or do they just bring them to you?

We just got one yesterday and didn't ask for it, they just gave it to us. Not sure if that's what they usually do but that's what they did for us.

If you spend the right amount usually they hand it to you at the register.

If I might ask what ornament did you get yesterday?

Thats what they had on Sunday too. Thanks!!!

If you're ovo-lacto I'm sure you'd be fine, but of course some places throw gelatin in things when you're least expecting it, LOL.

On the other hand, after talking for an hour with Chef Chris a few months back, I became very comfy with their methods. Since they want to make as many people happy with their food as possible, they will work to keep things veggie when they can. So the rice and beans are vegetarian, and so on.

So unless it was something like a mousse, b/c lazy places use gelatin to puff that up instead of working to get the air to make it moussey, I'd pretty much expect that a dessert there was ovo lacto veggie.

OK that was just way too many words.

But I didn't know this was a "thing" they did. And here I thought we got something extra special and lovely, because they had run out of AP dining pins last year! My special feeling is crushed, LOL...though honestly I didn't understand why they were handing one small family one each of the SAME hangy thing. Hubby liked it, but he likes the movie.

So they do this up until Christmas? Hmmm. And yes, weird that they give everyone in the party the SAME one. Oh well...:)

We only got one for our group, not one each so don't feel crushed. Maybe they did do something special for you by giving you each one. Although, not sure why you would need that many.

Anyone have pictures of these things? :)

I don't have a picture but I can describe it to you. It is silvery (pewter?) and has a black string and the one I have is just of the guy's head, not his whole body. It's maybe a couple of inches tall.

You get one for every $30 you spend so we got 2
