With so many people putting up Christmas trees right now (not to mention the enormous ones Disney put up that were discussed on the podcast), I thought it'd be fun to have a thread where we could post pics of ornaments each day and tell the story behind them. Who's in?

I will have to take a picture of it but my DH and I were in London in 2003 and while in Harrods we spotted a beautiful hand painted ornament that showed scenes of snowy London. We snatched that puppy up and did not realize until we got home from vacation that our lovely 29.95pound Harrods ornament actually cost us almost $60 dollars. It is wrapped up like Fort Knoxs, it is in a box, that houses packing peanuts surrounding an inner box that the ornament is delicatly wrapped in bubble wrap. We say a prayer every year that it is in one piece when we open it. We love our tree ornament and the memories it brings.
