We are still waiting for bridegirl to check in about her elf package. Other than that, we are done. I again must say how dissapointed I am with several non senders, who refuse to read PMs. Then there were 4 senders who never reported sending, low and behold their packages were recieved, very late, and those recievers were alson Elfed. Knowing that these people will be on the non sender list is good, but it sure doesn't erase the bad feelings.

I thank you for all the work you (and the elves) put into this exchange.

But I would like to let my feelings be known about this....I know that some people have been put on the exchanges non-sender list because of this exchange but how about those that simply could not be bothered to post that they received their packages. I only found out yesterday that mine was received and that was only because you were nice enough to forward a PM that you had FINALLY received from my receiver. I feel very hurt to have spent the time, money and energy picking out what I felt would be just the right ornaments, and in addition to the ornaments I even included a Christmas/snowman blanket for a little something extra and then never have that receiver post that they had received it. My receiver never posted on the thread, ignored your pmss until yesterday and has ignored a pm and email that I sent yesterday! Since mine had to be sent out of the country I couldn't use delivery confirmation so I've had no idea if it was even received, let alone whether the receiver liked it or not.

I don't feel that anything can erase the hurt and bad feelings that I have from this exchange. (The only thing that eases those feelings is to look at the beautiful ornaments on my tree from kimisabella - to remind me that most of the people on the disboards are very thoughtful!)

Sorry to vent but this has had me very upset and I feel that I had to voice my feelings.

But on a good note - thanks again for all your hard work, Marsha, and for the work of the elves!

All we as hosts can do is try to get the person to post....but we can't make them...wish we could.

i agree that it is sad that people can't even be nice and thank you for sending something that you took a lot of time and thought to get for them. i haven't heard anything from my receiver either. i'm not really expecting to, since i sent it a month ago, but it would have been nice. all i wanted to know was that it got there safe and sound.

There were at least 6 that did not report recieving, maybe more, I need to go to my llasptop and pull up the spreadsheet. (DH gave me new PC for Christmas).

It is sad when people don't acknowlege getting an exchange. I know my reciever got hers, according to the PO, but she has nebver posted. I have contacted everyone, or at least tried to contact asll that haven't reported. I am stil waiting for PMs to be picked up, not that I expect it.

I don't understand why people don't have common curtesy.

I'm sorry that you are having such a hard time with this exchange Marsha.
As a fellow organizer, it does get fustrating when you put these exchanges together hoping that everyone has fun and goes with the rules, and something like this happens.
Hope you are able to complete and close this exchange soon.
