Seems like there is a great rate for the dates of travel I am looking at for just me and DH this October for our Anniversary.

I'm a little afraid of booking those great rates because I don't know how reliable and how reputable this company is.

I checked out the BBB and found that they had no complaints. And I know a few DIS'ers have used them from reading these boards.

Just wondering if anyone can help ease my mind on actually booking through them. I really don't want to get to WDW to find that I really don't have ressies or something like that.

I'm bumping this because I'm wondering the same thing!! The prices seem great and since there have not been any discounts released for Oct. yet this may be the way to go!!

I just discovered this site and the rates are good, in some cases very good for some of the Disney resorts. Since my motto is "No Free Lunches" I'm wondering what the catch is, something like you have to pay the entire amount due within 5 days of making reservation and can't cancel within 10 days of arrival. Don't know, I need to read the fine print. Still, these are some good rates for some dates this fall, I checked for a date in September and CBR was $101 per night and one of values was less than $75 (I think). Hope someone has used them and can shed some light on the good and bad.

I am wondering the same thing...I had some info on it and will look to see what I have found. If no one beats me to it.

I wonder why only CB has the good rates as far as the moderates? Too bad it isnt for Coronado Springs too or I would go for it.

I found a great rate from this site for the All Star Movies resort for my time frame in September, but I don't like the cancellation policy. Don't want to take a chance that I may have to cancel within that 30-day time frame. Here are the terms for reservations booked with their "Special Rates" copied right from their site:

<i>For ‘Special Rate Rooms’:

All rates and reservations made on this site are reservation requests and are based on limited availability. Due to the unique nature of these special rates, please allow up to one week for confirmation. Your reservation request is not confirmed until you receive your confirmation email with an 8 digit confirmation number beginning with the letter ‘G’. Deposit Policy: The stated deposit on your request will not be charged to your credit card until your reservation is confirmed. Balance Amount:The balance of your reservation will be charged to the same credit card 30 days prior to your arrival date. Your reservation will be paid in full by the time you check in.Cancellation Policy: If the reservation is cancelled outside of 30 days only the $9.75 cancellation fee will be processed. If the reservation is cancelled between 30 days prior to arrival and 7 days prior to arrival there will be an additional $200.00 charge. If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days it is non refundable. To cancel a reservation call ReservationHelpLine.com at (888)782-9722. Additionally, if you are holding any other reservations, they will not be cancelled unless you advise us. The cancellation and refund policy is subject to change. </i>

Hope this helps!

After taking a look at the terms, I strongly suspect that what they are doing is using Disney's group sales to get discounts.

It's potentially a clever idea, but it could REALLY backfire. Basically what they'd have to do is get enough people to book for a particular date in order to qualify for the group rate. Then they would be able to give you a confirmation... however, if they don't get enough "takers" for a certain date span, they wouldn't be able to offer the rate, and you wouldn't get your room.

Also, if too many people drop out for a particular date or group of dates, they're going to have to either cancel your reservations for those dates or "eat" the loss.

Very risky for them, and for the people making reservations.

I'm not positive this is how they're doing things, but I would lay odds on it.

Personally I wouldn't be willing to take the risk with my vacation plans.
