Hello!! Hard to believe we're heading back so soon but I have just booked a cruise from Port Canaveral. My question pertains to transportation options. We are travelling with our 18 month old and will be spending 2 nights in Orlando pre-cruise. What are our options for transportation to Port Canaveral that will allow us to secure our little on in her car seat? I assume there are car rental drop offs at Port Canaveral but am not sure. We'd rather not rent a car on the way back since we'll be leaving directly for the airport. Thanks for your help. P.S. I'm cheating a bit since we're cruising with Royal Caribbean and not Disney but I know you guys will still help me :D

We are using Able Shuttle (ableshuttle.com). They had great rates. We are using them from the airport to the hotel, hotel to port, port to Airport.. For five people, it was like $210.

I'll know on 1/19 how good they are! :moped:

if you are not doing any parks you should stay at a hotel near port, they offer shuttles

We actually are intending on going to the parks so we'd prefer to stay in Orlando. I think we'll probably rent a car when we arrive and drop off at Port Canaveral but any other suggestions for transportation back to the airport after the cruise would be welcome. I may even be able to use Royal Caribbean's shuttle but I suspect because we've made our own flight arrangements they may not allow it.

we always rent from Budget directly in the orlando airport, then drop off at cocoa beach, they shuttle you to port canveral..then when we get back we do the same because we always take next day or late night flights home so we can enjoy the parks some more.

as for not renting on the way back, you may be able to get one way transfers from your cruise ship to the airport...

have a safe fun trip and enjoy your cruise even though it is NOT on disney...
hahahahahaha
