Being an Aussie, I am not familiar with the stroller types available. We usually use a Phil & Teds, but we don't want to bring it with us. The stroller will be used by my 2 year old (30lb) and 5 year old (40lb). One of my concerns is if the doubles will fit through a door way. We do not anticipate using the buses very often as we will have a car.

I believe the City Mini will work for you. I think it has a 50lb weight limit per seat.

Here's a link to a website that sells them, it will have more information http://www.albeebaby.com/baby-jogger-city-mini-double-green-grey.html

I ordered a stroller from them and had it delivered to the resort. Not sure how long you are going for but it might be cheaper to buy one, they are on sale at a good price.

Thanks for your reply. I have discovered the City Mini is available here (at a cost of $800!!!), so I will visit a store and check it out.

It cost me a bit more to purchase a stroller in 2008 than to rent for 2 weeks. The same stroller up here in Canada was almost double the price I paid.

I figured I could easily sell the stroller for half the price and still save money. I have since used the stroller two more times and it's coming back again this year. It's still in excellent shape, but I don't think I can sell it-I like it too much.

I didn't know about the City Mini strollers when I purchased my Perego Pliko P3. The City Minis look great and the single handle would be nice. I also went to a store and tried out some strollers. I didn't like the Maclaren's.

Albeebaby was great at answering my questions and figuring out when I should order to ensure it arrived at WDW before we did.

It probably would be cheaper to buy than rent, but DH refuses to cart it all the way home to Australia. On our 2009 trip we had so much luggage, so the only way I could get him to agree to this trip was a promise to travel light.

When we went this passed January, someone here suggested magicstrollers.com. They're the same strollers but cheaper. So that would be my suggestion. Good luck!

We have a City Series double (not the mini) that we use for WDW. Its wonderful and definitely fits thru doorways. I wouldn't want to use it on the bus but we drive to the parks instead and it folds easily and very flat.

If it does end up cheaper, you could always offer it as a stroller swap on here or even just find a family on your last day/night to give it to.

You never know, maybe your husband will really like the stroller and want to keep it.
