The mall at millenia is an upscale shopping mall. There was another mall we went to that had "regular" stores.

Additionally, there are 2 very good outlet malls, vineland and I drive. M&M world was in the "regular" mall we went to, so it must have been the Florida Mall.

There is a good outlet mall pretty close to Disney property. Orlando premium outlets
8200 Vineland Avenue
Orlando, FL 32821
(407) 238-7787.
They also have a Disney parks store there with lots of good sale.
But they have nice clothing outlets and stuff too.

Though youll see some more discounts at the Premium Outlets, when i went there the Florida Mall had most of the same shops with the same articles for the same prices. Seeing as its indoors (airco!) and its far bigger i recommend it over the others if your time is limited. If not definitely visit both.

Spot on! Actually, most companies (Coach, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Ralph Lauren) manufacture specific lines for their outlet stores; usually of lesser quality and is very brand driven with logos and marques on merchandise. And brands that don't have separate merchandise generally don't offer lower prices than their boutiques or department stores (i.e. Levis, Timberland, Marc Jacobs, Lacoste). These stores do have a "if you buy 2, you save 5%, buy 4 and save 15%!" so outlets aren't all too much better than just visiting the Florida Mall's Macy's -- which has some good deals as well as a 10% tourist discount ;)

If this is something that bugs you, go to Prime Outlets and poke around the Neiman Marcus and Saks outlet stores. These places get their merchandise from overflow in their actual department stores, so you can find some great stuff there!

We love the Premium Outlets. There are two locations, one on the Universal end of I-Drive and the other near the SeaWorld end of I-Drive. Many of the stores are the same, but there are some differences between the two (Under Armor, for example, is only featured at the location near Universal). We have found some amazing prices on clothing and footwear at both of these outlet locations. In one case, my husband bought a pair of shoes at the Nike outlet for $25 that we saw later that week at House of Hoops in the Florida Mall for $100. Same exact pair. If time is of the essence, I would check the store listing for both locations and just pick the one that offers the most stores your girlfriend would be interested in.

We also like the Florida Mall, which is where you will find the M & M Store. That mall features lots of trendy stores like Aeropostale, American Eagle, Hollister, Abercrombie & Fitch, etc.

Strangely enough, our favourite shopping destination in the Orlando area is the Nike Clearance Outlet in Kissimmee. Its in a little strip mall on the Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway. We have found some amazing discounts here and its become a must-do on each trip for our teenaged son. And I love that everything is organized by size.....so no plowing through the racks to find out if they have your size in the item you want.
