Picture this:

A decade ago, if you wanted to get a thrilling ride on a great rollercoaster in Orlando, you had two choices...Space Mountain and Thunder Mountain.

Now, in just the past decade, we have:

Rock'N'Roller Coaster
The Incredible Hulk
Dueling Dragons
The Mummy
Expedition Everest
Kraken
Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit (coming soon)
Manta (coming soon)

Then you can go to Cypress Gardens nearby and ride the Triple Hurricane or the Starliner...or go to Busch Gardens Tampa and ride any of the 6 big rollercoasters they have, most of which have also been built in just over the past 10 years.

It's a good time to be a coaster fan near Orlando :thumbsup2

I went to a baseball tournament to Tampa and visited Busch Gardens about a week before Kumba opened up and didn't make it back to the park until 96 or 97 when Montu was open. The first thing I did at the park was ride Montu and as soon as I got off that ride I was like another person, that ride literally transformed me into the coaster, theme, amusement and water park nut that I am today.Every time one of those coasters was opening during the last decade I was there.I now have AP's to all the Florida parks and make it out to out of state parks as much as I can.I can't wait for the HRRR coaster at Universal and Manta at SWO,and whatever the main ride that will be built for Harry Potter I'm sure it'll be amazing.

Where is Manta going to be?

Pretty tame coasters but coasters nonetheless.

Yeah, it's going to be awesome though.. People might complain about having these big coasters, low on theming but I say.. the more attractions, the better.

Keep 'em coming! :yay:

Too bad all the parks can't get together and come up with a coaster pass on an armband that would let you in just to ride the coasters and be able to hop from park to park to do them all in one day. That is one of the good things about Cedar Point. At least they are all in the same park

If you get on Sheikra 3 or 4 times in a row and you learn to learn to tighten your stomach before the big drop,by the 5th time riding it it doesn't feel that intense anymore, but more fun.But I agree when you first go on it that first drop puts your stomach in your throat!!!And yeah now that it's Floorless the front row is insane on that ride.
