What is at Orlando Melbourne airport ie shops and food

There is a grill/counter to order breakfast and sandwiches and snack food when you enter the terminal and before you go through security. They also have a very limited supply of gift items, candy etc. Once through security there is a bar Where you can get alcoholic beverages. I’m not sure how much food you can get at that bar. I have purchased bottled water and cracker packs at the bar. That’s about it. MLB is a very small airport. I use it when I go to Disney’s Vero Beach resort. There is a company that runs a van shuttle to The Orlando International Airport.

I don't know how they get away with calling "Orlando" Melbourne airport. It's nowhere near Orlando.

there was an argument about this when the name changed occurred with MCO folks taking your side ... their complaint got weakened tho when they had no problem with Sanford Airport being "Orlando Sanford" ... not sure what the status of the argument is but it isn't in the news any more ...

I think that they didn't bother to fight Orlando Sanford because Sanford is actually inside the Orlando MSA, but Melbourne?
Definitely a geographical stretch... by road it's only about 10 miles closer to Orlando than Tampa is.

This is completely off-topic, but one time I was flying to Athens, Georgia by way of a small connecting plane in Atlanta. We were sitting in the charter flight's small office when a family came in thinking that had bought a flight to Athens GREECE, which is where they intended to go. Makes me wonder how often that happens in Melbourne, FL too lol!
