Orlando mall recommendations...

We will be staying on-site (no car) however, plan on taking a cab to a nearby outlet mall. There seems to be a few, so I need recommendations, on which is the best one to go to since I am only dedicating one day (afternoon) for this. P.S. I would be interested in purchasing some disney items (character related) at a discount. Thanks to you shopping experts!

There is a Premium Outlet Mall that was just a few minutes from Pop Century. It had a Disney Character Premiere store. Here is the link if you are interested.

If you come close to the Seaworld Area there are outlet malls in each end of the I-ride line (the bus going up International-drive) They are both really good and both of them have big Disney stores....

What is the best way to get to these malls with no car? Should you take a cab from the hotel (I'm staying at Pop) or from Downtown Disney? Can you catch a bus from anywhere?

You should consider renting a car if you want to go out for the day. We do 1 day per trip. At $30-40 bucks, thats cheap. I would think cheaper than a roundtrip cab.

Last dec we took a day to go to walgreens for goodies, the mall and Capc.....(NASA) and eat cheaper.

This year we have a day planned to go to the store (load up a foam cooler) and off to the beach. Then maybe the outlet mall before our ADR @8pm.

There are lots of them. Almost all will pick u up. There is a Car Care Center (u must request a pick up 24 hours in advance) on Disney Property (you can find a lot of discount codes like with Gieco, etc) is National and when you drop off they will take you to any resort or park. I had Hertz come and pick me up and with my AAA discount it was $30. You should reserve on-line and then I call me make sure. Just have a major ccard, they dont bill until you rent the car.

I'm staying at POR and am trying to find a Ross's and have addresses but can't find the locations close to our resort. Does anyone here know. It is a discound store and I have fallen in love with this store and spend lots when I go. The Premium outlet sounds awesome too and how far drive is that to WDW and POR???
