My family and I are traveling in November. We are driving through the night and will probably arrive one day early. We were planning on staying at the nickelodeon family suites but after reading some reviews I don't think we are interested in staying there any longer. So we are looking for a hotel stay for one night close to Disney but exciting enough to entertain a one year old, a four year old and two 20 year olds while Dad sleeps off a 14 hour drive.

We stayed at the Lake Buena Vistor Resort Villas, which we got on Hotwire for a really low price. The 2 bedroom suite was about 1,000 sq. feet. Like most other hotels in the area, they have a couple of pools, waterslide, hot tub, etc.

The one nice thing if you do end up with a 2br is that you could be on one bedroom while they're sneaking in for snacks etc. without being woken up. Recommended.

P.S. Like you, we were almost lured in to Nickelodeon and decided to avoid it.
