I just tried to play mine (got it yesterday!) and it doesn't work!
Anyone else have this problem?

I have a Phillips DVD/DVR and have had this problem with another DVD movie. There are some security coding formats which prevent some players and movies from playing nicely together. Try a friend's player or if your computer will play DVD movies, you can try that.

The video is in PAL format, which won't play on most NTSC DVD players.

me! I got mine yesturday too and tried it today and it won't play and I can't get dh off the other computer to try it.

Remember folks, it is a PAL DVD. Some computer DVD drives will play PAL DVDs. Most DVD players that you connect to a TV won't.
