Orlando Eye - Is it *really* 400 feet tall?

Drove by it today to take some pics. I was studying it for a few minutes and couldn't figure out how it could be 400 feet tall. Looks closer to 350, if not less. I've been to the London Eye and the difference looks far greater than just 43 feet (London Eye is 443).

Anyways, not complaining and I am super excited about the grand opening coming up, but I have a feeling they exaggerated the stats on this thing.

Yes this is from last year. My point is that it's probably less than 400 feet. I keep trying to eyeball it and justify it at 400 feet, but I'm unable to.

Lots of things can affect visual perception. Perhaps your eyeballs are off?

How about this article from today? It's opening May 4. If you can eyeball the difference in 350 & 400 feet from the road, you need to figure out a way to monetize that! haha
