The wife and I would like to go and explore Disney Worlds Magic Kingdom, possibly Animal Kingdom and Epcot. We were curious if it could be done in a total of 3 days? Our idea was Magic Kingdom in one day, Animal Kingdom in one day and Epcot in one day. Is this unrealistic?

Well.. my first trip was 3 days. We did the Magic Kingdom 2 of those days and Animal Kingdom one with what was the Downtown Disney that evening. We only did MK 1/2 day the third day because that was when we were leaving.

We actually did all we wanted to do in those three days.

I think, if you plan right, you can do what you want in 3 days easy.

As long as you know that you won't see everything, you will still enjoy it. Most people want more than 1 day in MK. My first trip was 4 days in those 3 parks and it was much too short. If you can extend by a day or two, do, but if 3 is what you have, just don't try to accomplish everything. Enjoy what you do choose!

Hi. When are you going? It csn be done and you should be anle to do your highlights with planning.

I am just estimating but I think it would be the later part of August. I am not aware of Disney's high or low seasons as far as how crowded the parks are.

End of August beginning of September, for us, is a great time to go. Southern schools are back and Northern schools are getting ready to go back after Labor Day. Although it's hot, crowds are very managable although I still make sure I make my dining and FP ressies. If you are thinking this August, its already time to book restaurants and your FPs will be coming up soon too.

Happy planning!

Remember AK closes earlier than other parks. Depending on hours in the park and/or EMH you could you fit a lot in.

Three parks in three days back to back will be very tiring, especially if you're going to try and see as much as possible every day, so start your stamina and strength training now. Seriously, if you're not in the habit of doing a lot of walking I'd start getting in shape now so you don't wreck your feet and leave exhausted. You won't be able to see and do everything in each park in a single day, so you'll need to do some research and planning about which attractions and shows are must sees for you. MK has the most attractions, Epcot has the most walking, AK will be the most relaxed of the three so I'd save that park for your third day.
