Orlando Airport transfers to Cruise Port for 11

We are a party of 11, flying in the day before our cruise, and will need transfers from an Orlando airport hotel to Port Canaveral. I have researched round trip pricing through the cruise line and with such a large group, its cheaper to go with a private van/shuttle. However, there are so many different companies out there and not many reviews on them. Does anyone have any recommendations on a reliable company to go with or whom to stay away from? I am the one organizing this and it's scary doing it for 11. I don't want us to be stranded! Help!!!

I have used FL Tours many times, and happy Limo as well. All without problems. You may have to get a van and a car though, I think the limit to a van is ten people.

I have reserved with a group called cruiseXpress. They only charge $20 per person one way. We even ran into a bit of difficulty (I travel with a mobility scooter) and they are taking care of all the arrangements for us to go with another line that can accommodate us at their expense. The owner is even meeting us at the airport herself to be sure it all goes smoothly. That is what customer service should be!

Thank you! I will definitely check out Cruisexrpress and FL Tours. I did call Happy Tours and they were a bit on the high side as they only have a bus available for us.

If you have enough adults, you may want to also compare the cost of renting 3 standard vehicles one way from MCO to Cape Canaveral.

Just got this today from Dollar: Dodge mini van $44.95 w/tax & fees =$ 78.38 total, from mco to the port, promo good till last of March . Code # 2COE2 , rent two of them. A review you ask for. Rented from Dollar at MCO last May.Drove it to the port the day before cruise, stayed all night at CI&S, morn of cruise took the luggage to the ship , stop on the way to the rental [ 2 miles] topped off the tank ,drop the van off, was shuttled to the ship. All was great.Time about 30 minutes. We paid last May $39.95 + tax/fees HAPPY SAILING

Your cheapest bet may be 3 full sized cars or 2 mini-vans if that works with your party. I've paid $46 and $92 for a mini-van including all taxes but not including tolls and gas. I've paid as low as $32 for a car although $40 is more likely. If you need car seats, those add a fortune more (like $12 each!). Dropping off passengers and luggage, returning rental and shuttling back to the port is VERY easy. Most of the MCO area hotel offer complimentary shuttles to/from the hotel, so you can either get the vehicles when you arrive at MCO or the drivers can shuttle back to MCO the next morning to get the vehicles (you pay for 24 hours whether you use the car for 2 hours or 23 1/2).

If that doesn't work for you, there are MANY towncar/limo/van services between MCO and the port area. Southern Elegance, Tiffany limo, Happy limo, FL limo, etc. FL limo went thru a bad time some years ago, but seem from recent board reports to have straightened out their problems (I have no RECENT experience with them).
