Original AKV point price

Hi gang,

Can anyone remember what the original price of AKV was when it first started selling and what were the perks? Thanks.

AKV began sales on February 1, 2007 to existing members. Price was $101 per point and offered an incentive lowering the price to $93 per point for at least 100 points. In March, 2007 the price was raised to $104 and sales began for the general public. The $8 incentive was also included. There has been no price increase since March, 2007.

Don't feel bad. I bought last summer, and we didn't even get the tapestry (offer was developer points OR $8/pt off).

But I will make up the difference gradually with little shampoos, and by refilling mugs outside their intended use year.

We are thinking about buying in and I have read about people buying in at Jambo or Kidani (sorry if I butchered the spellings).. Are these being sold seperately????

Jambo House was finished first, and was sold first. It has since sold out, and they are now selling Kidani.

However, it doesn't matter in which building you own as it is all treated as one resort for points purposes. You can specify which section you want to stay in when you make a reservation though. You can own Jambo and book Kidani. Or own Kidani and book Jambo. Doesn't matter.

But if you buy Kidani now, you won't be able to make a reservation for a stay that begins before the unit you buy is available for occupancy, which apparently will be next Spring.
