Organizing Disney album

Yes another help me plan album question!

This will be my fourth Disney trip album. I do 12x12 layouts, usually 2 pages. I do plan to scrap by park and event. That is, Epcot, MK, MVCMP etc. My question is about character meals and character greetings. I made both kids an 8x8 album with a page for each character they met -- okay it turned out to be 5 albums!!! 2 for DS4 and 3 for DD7 since she met more characters. So I have in fact already scrapped the characters, just not in the main album.

Would you do it again to have in the main album? Or maybe just 1 2page layout per park, with the best photos, but not all of them? I usually end up including every viable photo in my albums and it is just getting way too time consuming.

What do you do with your character meals -- do you include a photo with each character you met at the meal or just the highlights?

I would only pick the best of the best for the big album of character meets and what not. I have to say for character meals I include a photo of every character we meet good or bad photo doesn't matter. If we get more than one photo with a character I will only use the best unless interaction was something that was great. IE when Mickey colored with DD at Garden grill we have the posed photo and some of them jsut coloring together. HOw this helps!

You could pick the best of the best..
Or..what I will often do when I have many photos that I want to include..it print my favorite in a larger size (5x7) and then print others in wallets..it looks great to have many smaller photos on a page!

I love the wallet size photo idea! I do not know why I have never thought of this before! Thanks for posting that - I now have all kinds of new layouts dancing in my head. LOL

I do a page (usually 2, 12x12) for each character meal, depending on how many pics I have. Crystal Palace has been known to grow to 4 pages, but you have to do what you have to do!

I just finished my sons bday trip to WDW album, I used only traditional disney colors and printed out select photos in black and white and did it ABC style.

Currently, I am working on my trip from last March, and going old style, using all the Disney embellishments I have been collecting since...forever!!
