someone brought oreos with icing and sprinkles to dd's bday party last year. They were bought from a caterer. I can't find a recipe for them. I'm not sure she just put icing on them and sprinkles it seemed like they were softer? Anyone ever make these?

I have not made them as in baking them, but I have frosted them in a way that it does make them softer. You can take a can of the whipped frosting you buy at the supermarket and put in a bowl and microwave it until it is pretty thin then dunk the oreos in it (wearing gloves of course) and lay out on wax paper and then after they are dry dunk again and put sprinkles or decorate borders etc... with frosting tubes.
They are pretty tasty and I have a catering business that specializes in candy and dessert buffets and they go over well at the teen / kids parties.
