Ordering only the bun?

I realize this sounds kinda silly, however, we like to eat at Pecos Bills and this trip DGS will be with us and he is going through a stage where all he will eat of a burger is the bun. Does anyone know if it is possible to only order a bun as not to waste the rest of the burger??

accomodate you. I'd expect a no charge for the meal, unless he eats the fries and other items. But we've all been astonished at some restaurant policies are. Just for kicks, please post a response when you get back!

You can order an extra bun for 80 cents, I think =)

It shouldn't be a problem

At local fast food restaurants, I go one step farther. I usually order a bun with cheese. My little ones have never eaten burgers. They prefer a cheese sandwich. Sometimes the restaurants will even melt it for us.

I think it was on the budget board, but there seams to be alot of people that order the double hamburger and an extra bun. Not silly at all.

I ordered a bun at Pecos Bill's earlier this month. I used a voucher for my son, bacon double cheese burger meal. I got the bun for myself and we split the burger. The cashier didn't blink an eye.

Now, he did give me a strange look when I came back to order just bacon. After my son got his burger, he said it didn't have enough bacon and wanted to know if he could order more.
