My dh is so picky and prefers to order burgers pretty much any time we go out to eat so while trying to plan our ADR's for Sept. I've run into some problems at dinner time. Does anyone know if they will let you order lunch menu items at non-lunch times? I'm specifically wondering about LeCellier, I really want to go there for dinner to have the filet with mushroom risotto but they do not list the steakburger(which by the way is the best burger I've EVER had)on the dinner menu. Do you think they'll let him order that anyway?

Thanks!!

We have done this before. My ds wanted the steakburger and the waitress said it would not be a problem. I have to mention we usually eat there early maybe 4-430, but it was not on the dinner menu we were given. So in our case it was yes! Good luck.

I have no idea, but I'm curious to know as well! I much prefer the petit fillet that is on the lunch menu to any of the steaks they have on their dinner menu. Trouble is I can only seem to fit Le Cellier into my plans for dinner. What's a girl to do?

I don't know for sure, but it seems to me that, usually, Disney will do whatever they can to make you happy and having a lunch choice for dinner would be fairly easy to do. I've personally had servers give my DD6 things like broccoli instead of the requisite french fries.

It never hurts to ask.

Happy Dining!

I don't know about Le Cellier, specifically, but I do know that Disney chefs will go out of their way for you. We wanted a Cobb Salad at Brown Derby, and back then it wasn't available for dinner. They were more than accommodating and were even willing to charge us the lunch price. :thumbsup2 (In other cases, I think the most I've been surcharged for ordering a lunch menu item for dinner was a few dollars.) The only times I'd suspect you'd have a problem is if they simply don't have any more of a specific ingredient in the restaurant. Remember that theme park space is limited, and so the restaurants get shipments of many things they need for the day, EACH morning, so they sometimes do run out.

Thanks for the responses!! I wonder if I can take this a step further by ordering Madamia Pineapple pancakes at Kona Cafe for dinner, lol!! :teeth:
