Ordering from Resort Restaurants for Pickup?

Somewhere (blog, postings, websites) I read that you could order a dessert item from a resort's restaurant for pickup or to go. Am I just remembering this incorrectly, or is this actually something you can do.

I only ask, because there are a few items we enjoy ordering but wouldn't actually want to sit down and order a whole meal to get it. Such as the almond crusted cheesecake at Narcoosee's that my wife really likes.

Some items I know are available at a non-server restaurant located next door, but there are some that can only be found at a specific restaurant.

Just wondering.

Most won't allow it, but some will. I've done it at Jiko but only ordering from the bar. also I hear if you go to the bar at the Wave they will pack up a meal for you to take. Narcoosees does have a bar but I haven't tried to do any to-go from there.

You could probably sit at the bar at these places and order what you want, assuming you can get seats, even if they don't allow carry out.

1) Nope.
2) You have to go there and order.
3) Once you get the item, you can ask for a to-go-box.
4) For the most part, TS eateries don't do take-out.
. . . it would create too much effort for the kitchen
. . . the eatery could not know how to staff the kitchen for the sporadic take-out orders
