Ordering DDE Card w/just will call voucher?

HI,
Has anybody tried to order the DDE card with just their AP voucher? What were you told? Does the AP have to be activated in order to purchase the card? Here's the deal- we arrive on a Saturday Memorial Day Weekend and I would like to use the card immediately, but since the office is only open M-F 9-5 I don't think I will be able to get it until Tuesday at the earliest. What should I do?

I called to purchase my DDE when I received my green AP voucher. On top of the strip on the back of the card are numbers and letters.. they will ask for those when you call... that's it.
