I know 4 years ago we were able to order a b'day cake at the CR when we stayed there and it was served when we we went to Chef Mickeys to celebrate my son's 4th b'day. SO I am sure you can get one. I would call dining or maybe MS and ask.

P.S. We went to Chef mickeys a couple of years ago on my sons 3rd birthday and was really surprised when they came out singing with a decorated cup cake - that was more than enough,

We had a birthday party for my dtr at the restaurant in the WL lobby (is it Whispering Canyon?). I ordered the cake from WDW -- I forget the name of the dept. Got a full sheet, chocolate with chocolate genache icing. It was beautiful and everyone in our group (about 20 people) still say it was the best cake they have ever had. It was $80 and could have fed us all for days and days -- it was huge. We almost had to post an armed guard to keep it from disappearing the first day. Caught my brother and DSIL sneaking some out to their condo one night to have for bfast the next morning.

We also ordered balloons.

The waiter/waitress and whispering canyon must have both been professional comedians because they had us all in stitches the entire two hours. It is now the standard/benchmark for birthday parties in our extended family and one which may be impossible to surpass.

Member Services gave me this number to call to order a birthday cake. She said they need 48 hours notice to personalize, deliver, etc. She didn't know prices. The number is actually called the "Cake Hot Line" - 407-827-2253.
