I don't see this posted so I thought I would. Orbitz has a coupon for 15% off and it works on travel dates until the end of December BYEBYE

It works on Disney Resort hotels, I tried it. :dogdance:

I just tried it and it's saying it's expired already.

The date of emmabelle's post was May 30th. Orbitz still has a 15% off coupon, but it's now called "BYEBYE".

Cheaptickets.com, which is owned by Orbitz has a coupon right now for 18% off and it's called "SUMMERFUN".

Hope this helps.

Glad to hear there's still a code available. Unfortunately, it won't let me apply the new one either.

Also be aware that Orbitz and CheapTickets now charge a $25 cancellation fee on many WDW hotel ressies. This applies to all changes as well, since you can't change nights of your stay...you must cancel outright and rebook. That said, it still may be worth it to most people for the savings. It doesn't really work for me because I stay at value - so that's roughly a 25% cancellation fee based upon 1 night - a bit steep. And I very rarely cancel, but do occasionally need to shift a checkin or checkout date.

It stinks that they charge now...I'm the queen of tweaking my accommodations ;););)

Does anyone know when Orbitz or Cheaptickets release Disney rooms for 2017? I'm looking for first week in March. I've been checking intermittently since Disney release rack rates back in June, but nothing yet on the above sites.

"BYEBYE" just worked for me on Orbitz, for GCH in September.

I have been eagerly awaiting a general public, Disney Visa, or AP discount for my December 2016 trip. 15% or 18% with a $25 change fee is a big help if one does not come through soon!!

AFAIK, the $25 change fee does not apply to the GCH, DLH, or PP. I've cancelled a couple of reservations there recently and no problem. Maybe it applies to other area hotels?

I would check the cancellation policy very carefully before hitting the book it button.

Me too. I'm holding out to see if I can get an AP or Fla resident room only discount thru WDW. If not, I'll take the gamble and book thru Orbitz if any rooms are avail for my dates (they're not as of now) or just stay offsite this year. :( The latter would be a real bummer, as I love staying onsite, but all stars are 135-150/night for mid dec and I cannot justify paying that for a value room.

I just booked through Orbitz with this coupon code. Worked great for me. But am having trouble linking my resort reservation to My Disney Experience. Can anyone help me with this? This is my first time booking a Disney World Resort through Orbitz. Orbitz sent me an Itinerary code & a Confirmation code, but neither seem to work with My Disney Experience.

Thanks in advance!
