Orbit One Vacation Villas

Hi all,

I'm looking for a possible backup ressie for our September trip and I managed to come across this place on bookit.com. The price is incredibly reasonable, but that also makes me somewhat wary too. Has anyone ever heard of them or better yet, stayed there? I'm also hesitant because I can't seem to find any info on internet access on property, which is probably a must have for me.

Any info would be fabulous!

A friend of mine stayed there a year ago and enjoyed it. It is an older property, but everything was clean and comfortable. You will have the opportunity to go to Liki Tiki Village (their sister resort further down 192) to use their pool amenities as well, but she said it was too crowded there and her kids like Orbit One's Pools better. Orbit One is located in a convenient location and you would be able to take the Sherbeth Road shortcut to the parks. I don't know about the Internet though. Sorry!

Having stayed at Orbit One; and scheduled to be there again next year; I agree with prior post.....somewhat older but not shabby by any means property; and clean. Located opposite the "short cut" road to Disney's Animal Kingdom area, it's handy for getting to the parks. Should be able to find info by doing a search; or since it's an RCI resort, check the RCI web site.

We stayed there a few years back and liked it. Its so easy to get to Disney if I remember right you leave the property drive straight across the road at the stoplight,stay on that road and it winds you up on backside of disney highway system. It took no time to get there from when we stayed there. Someone told us about that road and WOW it worked. If I remember correctly it ends you up near Animal Kingdom.

We were there in January. Not sure if you can pick up the internet in your room. We tried on our balcony but couldn't quite get it. You can get it in the lobby or perhaps if your room is closer to the lobby.
