Has anyone went to Orange Lake's timeshare presentation? I got an email for 3 nights at Disney's All Star resort for 4 people with 2 adult tics to one Disney park for $149. I figure if I could get a good deal on airfare, it might be worth looking into. Do both husband and wife have to go or could I say I was divorced or something?! I know DH won't want to go for that short trip. Is it a really hard pressure sale presentation or do they just present their case and let you be on your way?

I've toured Orange Lake and I have to say it was the most pleasant tour my DH and I have been apart of. The lady we had was a tiger trainer and at the beginning of tour showed my DD some pictures that she really enjoyed. My DH told her that we were more interested in her tiger training than the timeshare. We were upfront with her about why we took this tour ($130 CASH) and our "limited funds". This was so she didn't give her A - game. She was sweet as she could be. Once I heard her say that Orange Lake was a stand alone resort (they didn't have any other resorts) that was a easy way to for us not to even consider Orange Lake. But I must admit it was a really nice resort. The rooms were small - compared to the ones I've seen at Westgate Lakes and Wyndham Palms. None the less - it was a nice resort! The beach area was really nice - and I liked that my DD could play on the playground why she spoke to us (not in another room where I couldn't see her).

They are very non confrontational and we were woowed by cash aswell. Our presenter presents and you dont have to be mean to them, you just have to tell the sales manager no. We do presentations ALOT and this is one of the most pleasant ones.

Husband and I (Yes, both are required to attend) went with the kids for a timeshare presentation. They were not very agressive. They could tell we really were not interested in really buying. We got a family reservation at the Arbian Nights for $25! That's $25 dinner and show for a family of 7! Go for the tour, they do this all the time, and most of the people who go for the tours only go for the gift anyway.

We did their presentation once while staying there. It was very low pressure and easy. Debby

We attended the presentation in April. It was supposed to take about an hour but we were there almost TWO. They offered us free lunch and 50.00$ The lunch was a buffet of sticky spaghetti and stale rolls. The lady sat with us the whole time and stared at us while we ate! They pressured us to sign right then and we could change our minds within 24 hours. The catch is you have to put a 150.00 deposit down. 50 of it which is nonrefundable. The exact amount of the money they were giving us. Needless to say we took our 50 and ran!! We wont do it again!
