Orange Lake questions...

Hi Everyone

I have read the reviews on Orange Lake, and it sounds GREAT...I just have a few quick questions. My sister and brother in law rented a two bedroom with kitchen in a few weeks. Four total in there family. Myself, hubby and son were going to head down and spend a few days with them...Will this be a problem? I know we will have enough room, but what about parking? How are they about giving two parking passes? And, does anyone know how much it is to golf? It will be a surprise trip for my hubby, so trying to figure if I should take the clubs or not. Also, do they have any designated smoking areas? And, free internet in the rooms or no? Thanks in advance for your responses! Also, I do not know if it matters, but they booked a package trip through Travelocity.

Sorry, although we are owners, I can't answer very many questions for you. We don't golf, but I think you can get prices from their web site. You can get 2 parking passes, and it depends on where their condo is to answer the parking question. We own a one story unit so we can park right in our own driveway! The multi story units have nearby parking. If I can do anything else , let me know.

I'd suggest going out to the resort's website - http://orangelake.com/about_orange_lake/home.html - to get some specifics about OLCC.

While it's now been a few years since our last OLCC stay my recollection is that we had to use a dial-up connection to get internet access from our villas. It seems to me that they had a business center main clubhouse (the building in the West Village where check-in is located) and that had direct access. Quite possible that they've upgraded since then, though.

I don't know what a round of golf costs but I'd suggest that you call the resort's pro shop to inquire (407.239.1050). You can reserve a tee time at one of the golf courses at OLCC at that number, too.

As for the second parking pass The Hendies is/are correct, OLCC will issue an extra parking pass to your sister and bil. Ask them to request two parking passes when they check in so they'll have your's when to meet them at the resort.
