Orange Lake country club sunday check-in

I was looking for some guidance on what units are assigned at Orange Lake with a Sunday check-in (2 br unit). I have stayed there previously (twice) and was fortunate enough to get the tennis villas.

I called to request a tennis villa and was told they don't take requests anymore (but they would try), and that tennis villas are not available at all for Sunday check-in.

I am traveling by myself this trip with 3 children - and like the security of the high rise units. I don't mind driving to a pool, but really don't want one of the single story units that are way off the beaten path (just for my peace of mind). Has anyone gotten any of the new units with a Sunday check-in??

Call 2-3 days before. Explain the situation and what you would like. Ask for a name and thank them graciously.

I simply asked for a new unit in the North Area and got one. Was behind the Pool and on the 9 hole golf course. May ask for the highrises here.
